Protection and Deliverance From Lady Muse

SPRING CLEANING FOR THE SOUL

It is that time of year already, to get rid of old junk and clutter and deep clean our surroundings. As we were taught mundane cleaning techniques by our elders, there is an additional step gifted to us that is essential to our spiritual survival. Keeping our Inner self strong requires ritual cleansing of ourselves in addition to our living and working areas. Here is a Spring-Cleaning ritual to get the job done! Enjoy!

Items Needed:
Psalms 59:1-2 for Deliverance
Psalms 91 for Protection
HSE Cleansing/Uncrossing Herb Mix
HSE Cleansing/Uncrossing Oil
Mama Vergi’s Cleansing/Uncrossing Spray
House Cleaning Solution with Lemon (Pine Sol, Clorox, Lucky Mojo Chinese Wash)
Two White Tealights
Incense Brazier
Charcoal Disk
HSE Cleansing/Uncrossing Incense
HSE Inferno Protection Incense
Bay Leaves

Instructions:

Open your windows and closet doors. Dress your tealights with 3 drops of your Cleansing/ Uncrossing Oil, saying your Psalm of Deliverance. Place your dressed tealights by your front door, one on the left, one on the right. Light them.

Light your HSE Cleansing/Uncrossing Incense in the brazier. Starting from the back, go through every room in the house, paying close attention to closets and cabinets. Next, place your incense brazier in a safe place as it continues to burn while you are cleaning.

Take one tsp of your Cleansing/Uncrossing Herbal mixture and simmer on the stove to make a tea. Pour your simmered tea inside of your mop water and a few drops into your cleaning spray solution.

Sprinkle a pinch of the herbal mixture on floor that is non-carpeted and let sit. Mist carpets with Mama Vergi’s Cleansing/Uncrossing Spray and let sit.

Start cleaning from the back of the house and work your way to the front. If you have a two-story home start from the farthest room upstairs and work your way down stairs and then out the front door. Wipe windowsills, doorways, door knobs, and threshholds. Wipe down all counters with your lemon cleaning solution mixed with nine drops of the Cleansing/Uncrossing tea.

Sweep up the herb mixture and mop your floors. Vacuum all carpets. Light your HSE Inferno Protection Incense while reading your Psalm of Protection.

Place three Bay Leaves in each corner of the House.

Hoodoo-Up Your Christmas Wreath

Join me for a Wicked Conjure Workshop, December 19, 5:00-7:00 pm CST, when I’ll teach you how to find the magical opportunities in your merry-making. For instance, you can give your Christmas wreath a Hoodoo protective “flair” with:
HOLLY:  Means “holy” and was used at Yule in Druid and Scandinavian pagan paths. It is said to protect the home and bring in good luck. Often placed above a doorway for protection and to invite in helpful spirits.

MISTLETOE: Used to keep away evil and enemies, as well as prevent “love jinxes.”

FERN BRANCHES:  Ferns are to prevent evil from entering the home and for reversing hexes.

BAY LEAVES AND BRANCHES: Often found in more decorative wreaths, many may not know that by including bay leaves in your door wreath it is said to ward off evil and drive enemies away. Write petitions on bay leaves and burn in fireplace.

PINE: Use pine branches for the wreath itself or adorn with pine cones to keep away ghosts and other unwanted entities.

Any of the above botanicals can be added to your holiday wreath along with specific Hoodoo oils. Anoint the branches with oils such as PROTECTION to keep out dark forces. HOUSE BLESSING is a great formula to bring good luck, joy, and blessings into the house.  Sachet powders of the same type can be added to the wreath by blowing them onto the branches.

This is just one of the hoodoo tricks I’ll be teaching in my Zoom class, “Christmas Conjure – A Wicked Yuletide Workshop,” along with how to hot foot your Christmas cards; altering cookie recipes for love, favor, or to expel enemies; turning your ornaments into amulets of protection; and transforming those gingerbread men into “voodoo dolls.” Join us on December 19, 5:00-7:00 pm CST.

Miss Cat On How To Get The Most From Your Psychic

When Will It Come To Pass?

After “Will it happen or not?” and “What is he or she thinking?” the most frequently asked question that psychic readers and rootworkers receive from clients is, “When will it come to pass?” In other words, “When will the reading come true?” or “When will the rootwork we are doing show results?”

Yes, clients often ask psychic readers to tell them when an event will happen, and professional readers are comfortable with that question, of course. But making a useful reply can be complex.

Sometimes the reader gives a clear answer, and sometimes not. Failure to provide a clear time-line does not always mean that the reader is failing. It may mean that you, as the client, have not asked the right questions, or it may mean that you have chosen a reader whose method of divination does not lend itself to the knowledge of a hard time-line.

Let’s break this down.

Ask “How long should I wait?”

If you don’t ask your reader about timing, you may not get a date.

To put this another way, when you consult a professional reader, you have to ask questions! If a psychic reader says, “Chances look good for a satisfactory outcome” — for whatever situation is on your mind — you can ask, “Do you see a time-frame during which i can expect this to either happen or not happen?” This question can be asked of a reader who is only doing divination or of a root doctor or magical coach who will be working with you on your case.

No psychic will be offended by this question — but if you don’t ask, you’ll never know.

Listen closely to the answer.

If your reader says, “I see this as either succeeding or failing within the next month,” that does not mean that the reader “guaranteed it would happen within a month.”

If the reader says, “I see this as a situation in which opportunities for success are narrowing and closing down,” that does not mean that the reader “said success is not possible.”

Be prepared to act on the
information you are given.

When a positive outcome is said to be likely (and remember, we cannot guarantee results), commit yourself to doing the work indicated and check back with your reader as time goes by. In addition to a reading, you may make a contract with a spell-caster or magical coach to cover a specific number of check readings that your rootwork is ongoing.

When a negative outcome is said to be likely (again, remember that we do not guarantee results), ask your reader, “What methods should we use and how long should we continue to work on this situation before giving up?”

The form of reading affects the time-senses of the psychic.

As readers and root doctors, we are dealing with probabilities more often than with certainties (just the same way that medical doctors do), so we cannot always give you a precise date, but a general date range is often suggested by the form of divination we use.

To be specific, here are some of the ways that the form of divination affects the reader’s inclination to give you a “When” answer:

   • If you want hard dates, seek out an Astrologer and get natal charts, progressed charts, and transiting charts done for all the parties involved in the situation — the results can be amazingly precise.
   • With Numerology you will also be able to ask for, and may be given, specific times, by year, month, and date.
  • With Card Readings you are generally looking about three to six months into the future, but if you ask about “ever,” a distant future may be revealed.
  • With Pictorial Card Readings, such as tarot, lenormand, or oracle cards, if you ask a specific “When?” question, the reader may be able to associate a certain card image with a month or season of the year.
  • With Tea Leaf Readings you are looking about four weeks into the future, according to the old tea-reader’s adage, “four turns to the bottom” of the cup.
  • With Pendulum Readings you are getting a “yes” or “no” and it is difficult to assign dates, without the reader asking additional “yes” or “no” questions about date-ranges.
  • With the I Ching you may (or may not) get seasonal indications (Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter) rather than dates.
  • With Palmistry you will get age-ranges (“in your thirties,” “toward your fifties”) rather than dates.
  • With Spirit Mediumship you may get dates or you may not, depending on the spirit who speaks.

Holiday 2020 Emergency Support Kit

We know it won’t be the easiest of holidays. Covid has stretched us all thin emotionally. Some experience boredom leading to drama, others free-floating anxiety on a low burn. Too much togetherness or not enough togetherness — love suffers either way. Insomnia and nightmares are commonplace, and being alone with heartache at this time of year has always been especially difficult.

So here’s an Emergency Support Kit, with self-care and remedies to help survive until next year.

VANILLA SUGAR
For Sweetening the home, fill an airtight container with extra-fine baker’s sugar, plus 2 large vanilla beans. Recite Psalms 23 over your sugar or tape it to the jar.

HEAL MY HEART TEA
Combine lemon zest, shredded ginger, hyssop flowers, lavender buds, and peppermint in boiling water. Recite Psalms 51 over the brew and enjoy sweetened with honey.

TO RENEW AFFECTION
Add pumpkin pie spice and ground cardamom to hot cocoa — or just enjoy the aroma in simmering water on the stove!

SWEET DREAMS SACHET
For lucky and peaceful dreams, fill a muslin bag with lavender, calendula flowers, and hops. Read Psalms 4 before bedtime.

GUARDIAN ANGELS SPELL
Place a clean china plate atop a namepaper listing the residents of your home. Dress a blue or white cross candle with Peaceful Home Oil and place it in the center of the plate. Around it, put two protective circles of herbs: first lavender, hyssop, and mint, then rosemary, basil, and rue. Place four purple or red helper candles, dressed with Fiery Wall of Protection Oil, as guardians around the plate. Light as a centerpiece, taking care to stay safe.

May your days and nights be filled with gentleness until the new year!

Tips for Emotional Healing and Stability

When traumatic situations arise, regaining emotional balance can be a challenge. With many focused on physical health, it’s crucial to remember the importance of caring for the emotional body. Cultivating good emotional health not only bolsters the immune system but also offers mental and spiritual clarity. Below are a few spiritual tips you can employ to improve spiritual well-being.

Washing Away What Ails
Of the four elements, water is, to many, that most closely associated with healing, tranquility, and purification. Spiritual bathing is an integral part of healing and restoring the emotional body and spirit. Some excellent curios to add to a calming bath include Florida Water, Tranquility oil, and crushed or powdered lavender buds.

Light Your World
Color and light can do wonders to improve the mood. Bring both into your environment with candle magick. Yellow candles can be burned to invite uplifting, solar energy to a person or space. Fix with orange oil before burning for added effect.

Green Peace
Herbs and roots can function as facilitators of emotional expression and healing. My top three:

• Queen Elizabeth root, helpful in keeping the emotions in balance.
• Aspand Rue, burned to comfort during times of grief.
• Clary Sage, used as an oil to calm and elevate one’s mood.

Wishing you and yours continual health & peace.

Spiritual Tips For Staving Off Sickness

It’s no secret — wanting to maintain good health in these times is top priority. Now more than ever, protecting ourselves and loved ones becomes paramount, despite many feeling limited in both means and resources.

For the spiritual worker, there are a plethora of tools we can employ to keep illness at bay. Though never a substitute for professional medical treatment,
conjure can help us remain in better health and spirits. Below is my spell and a few personal tips to help you and yours do just that.

Herbs To Enhance Wellness

If you have some on hand, add oregano oil to your hand sanitizer. Oregano oil is a powerful antiviral and antibacterial. Add a drop or two to some distilled water in a spray bottle and spray it on the inside of your face mask before entering public spaces.

For internal protection, garlic and echinacea as supplements or in their natural form are beneficial. Echinacea wards off sickness by boosting the immune system. Garlic contains compounds that can help fight off viruses and infections. As always, take care with these if you are pregnant or nursing.

Spell To Protect From Unnatural Illness

You will need:

  • a box (a cross-shaped box is ideal if you can find it)
  • a photo of you and your loved ones
  • cotton batting
  • Peony root
  • Goldenseal
  • Life Everlasting
  • salt
  • blue thread
  • a pack of white or red tealights
  • Healing or Holy oil
  • Run Devil Run oil

1) Write a petition for good health and protection from unnatural illness on the back of the photo. Turn it clockwise 90 degrees, then write Psalm 91:5-6 across it. Dress it with Healing or Holy oil.

2) Make a small cup of tea from Peony root pieces, Goldenseal, and Life Everlasting. Add a couple drops of Run Devil Run oil to it and pray as it cools. Once cooled, soak the cotton in the tea and allow it to dry.

3) Make a packet with the remaining Peony root, Goldenseal, and salt, folding it towards you. Place it in the center of the dried cotton batting, and fold it around the photo. Tie the packet up with the thread and place it inside of the box with the lid on.

4) Dress your tea lights with Run Devil Run and set them up in a circle around the box going clockwise. Light them and recite Psalm 23 over your work and allow the candles to burn out. Once finished, keep the box on your altar or in a kitchen cabinet above your stove. Pray over it weekly to refresh the work.

May health, wellness, and above all peace be yours.

Psychic Rules Of The Road With Sister Jacqueline

When It’s Okay To Cheat (On Your Psychic, That Is!)

The telephone rings.

“Hello this is Jacqueline. How can I help you?”

“Hi Sister Jacqueline, I have a couple of questions.”

The voice on the other line is a little soft and a little quavering. It reminds me of when we were children and we were asking about unknown yet compulsively thrilling information or experiences. We were breathless; shaking in our clothes despite the temperature, anxiously waiting for the Answer.

After a couple of questions, the real reason for calling makes itself known. “I have another question. I am having work done for me on my behalf. I wanted to get a read on the effectiveness or success of this work. Can you do that?”

Ah. The reason for the shaky, breathless words coming from the other end of the phone. She is asking one reader about another.

Cheating on her psychic.

 * * * * *

Believe it or not, this happens more often than you would think. The client, as I will identify the caller, is curious about the validity of the reader or the work of the reader. No different than taking your car to more than one mechanic to see if the same diagnosis comes up so that you can be sure you are not being charged for items or work that is not necessary to fix the problem. This should be fine with readers, despite some who do their business in neon sign facades on Broadway, who might prefer that you make a hasty decision on the work and pay in cash, thank you. It is your prerogative to make decisions on your time and with good counsel from whomever you choose without pressure from any reader.

Once, I went into the little shop that had the sandwich board sidewalk sign with the red palm and $10.00 painted in white in the middle. I knew she was the local psychic, and many of her clients came to me. Twice a year for many years she would call me (I knew it was her as I programmed her number in my iPhone a long time ago), and she would ask me specific questions to try to ascertain my talents and knowledge — and of course, my prices. I decided to spontaneously pull into the parking lot and come into her place to get the $10.00 reading. The aroma of something deliciously simmering on the stove wafted through the curtains that separated the living quarters from the traditional parlor/living room of this older Victorian, and I was invited to sit at the table.

I placed my ten dollar bill on the table and she moved it aside and took my palm into her hands. I was told things that I will not share (my prerogative) and then I was told that ‘for $75.00 I can have all negativity cleansed off of me’ so that blessings would come in more quickly. As I hesitated (realizing that this remediation offered to me was less than 5 minutes into my reading), she said that ‘this cleansing would be a special price since I come in for the reading, but if I choose to come back the regular price was $150.00.’ I told her I was not interested in the cleansing and when she further pressed, I told her it was time to go pick the children up from school. She understood that I was not going to need any further remediations. I thanked her and quickly departed to go pick up my teens (Yes, I really had to get the kids from school).

I share this experience as I wanted to empower you that you are absolutely correct in your spiritual self-care if you choose to question/compare information from a reading or if you wait for spiritual remediations or spellwork to be performed on/for you. You are also correct in expecting that the cost of said spellwork/candles/cleansing remain the same price as the first offer; you should be suspect if prices change from the same reader for the same work. If you have the same reader offer the same work at different prices, ask why the change and then decide if it is worth it for you. Now, in defense of rootworkers, spellcasters, and prognosticators, each has their own reasoning for setting prices the way they do and yes, sometimes work being done for you COSTS. If you cannot see yourself going to the crossroads at night to lay an offering because of fear of discovery/arrest/danger, then your spellcaster will do it but expect that they will be compensated for not being tucked into their blankets at the stroke of midnight. We workers encounter things that go bump in the night, too. Many times the caller wants a secondary reading to validate what the first reader told her and to quantify the work that is being prescribed by the first reader. This is okay as well, as it will give clarity. This too, should be fine with any respectable reader. The seeking of further validation amongst peers gives credence to your gift, and I have also recommended other readers for certain spellwork as the client needs. It should not be offensive to a reader that a client seeks confirmation; we are all here to help this soul attain what they desire. There should be no pressure and no competition between readers, and a client should have the ability to make their choice of their own Free Will. This sets the tone for the Universe to follow that it was of no coercion or pressure that the client had services performed for them — it was the client’s choice.

Oh, the caller? She relaxed once she heard from me similar words of advice from the same reading and I gave almost exactly the same remediation counsel that she received from the first worker. She relaxed and her voice sounded like her fears had been dashed. A lighter, musical “Thank you!” came over the line. Another satisfied customer.
The other psychic will never know that her client “cheated” — unless the client “spills the beans.”

Evan Lionhart On The Thankful Life

Living Giving Gratitude

The holidays are upon us! A time to be thankful, celebrate with family and friends, and plan for a prosperous year ahead. Even with these traditional ideals at the forefront of our celebrations, it’s often too easy to overlook the most simple of blessings: shelter, life, stability, good health.

For all of us, none of these fortunes are guaranteed as we take each day one at a time. However, few are aware of the power of acknowledging these boons bestowed by the Creator. You don’t have to wait for the arrival of the festive seasons to tap into it either! Follow these four tips to help step into your best & most grateful life all year round, and share the bounty with those around you.

Celebrate Life

Many workers say prayers of thanks to Spirit in their own way on a daily or weekly basis. Even if this isn’t a part of your practice, have you considered including a prayer of thanksgiving for your life and the lives of those around you? Start your day by taking 5 minutes in front of a white tealight dressed with Blessing or Holy oil and thank Spirit for the chance to experience another day of life. Don’t forget to include a “thank you” for friends, family, and all who accompany you on your day-to-day journey!

Gratitude in the Workplace

Some of us are blessed to have careers we love. For others, it can be a challenge finding the will to get to that job day after day. Employ gratitude with a shift in perspective: a part- or full-time job provides not just financial abundance but a sense of stability that some people can’t attain. Consider setting a portion of your wages aside to fill a money blessing jar for an anonymous donation to a worthy cause or family in need as a gesture of generosity for the money you make.

Favoring the Unfortunate

Homelessness and hunger are at their highest, yet so much food goes to waste, especially around the holidays. Along with making contributions to your local pantries, you may also want to donate coats, socks and unused wearables to those in need. Consider dressing some of those much needed giveaways in Blessing, Protection and/or Attraction sachet powders or oils (if you launder them first) before handing them over to impart a bit of practical conjure work to those in need. Canned donations can be dressed in Attraction and Blessing products as well before being given away.

Grateful for Safety

In a topsy-turvy world, safety can at times feel quite uncertain. Though many of us often do work for protection from the unseen, how often do we stop and thank the spirits that provide it? Think of adding a prayer of gratitude for the safety of you and yours to the end of your day. You may take this a step further and create a protection jar for your neighborhood or city, especially around schools, hospitals and universities. If you work with saints, give these buildings to them to guard and watch over.

These easy acts of gratitude will not only serve to place you in a spirit of grace, you may find your spiritual work improve as a result of a cultivating a generous and open heart. Remember, Spirit favors those who are grateful. As 2nd Corinthians 9:11 says:

“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion,
and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

Wishing you a joyous and gracious holiday season.

Jon St. Germain Gives Clear Sight On Relationships

Can You Spot A Monster In Disguise?

Halloween is a time when it’s fun to wear disguises and pretend to be someone else. But there are real monsters disguised as caring humans, and psychologists designate these individuals as psychopaths. If you get involved with them, it can be devastating. One of their favorite ways to manipulate you is a series of psychological ploys collectively known as “Gaslighting.” Here are six signs someone may not be whom they seem to be:

1. Lying is second nature. They will lie, when the truth will serve just as well. This is intended to make you doubt your reality. If you call them on their conflicting versions of of events, they’ll say your memory is faulty. Or that you’re the one who’s lying. This is a definite red flag!

2. Blatant discrepancy between words and actions. The person may say they care about you, but their actions say otherwise. They may say they are looking for a job, but remain unemployed for months. They might claim to have lots of friends, but you never meet them. Maybe it’s time to wonder if they are being completely honest.

3. Projection. You know they lie, but they accuse you of lying. You catch them cheating, but they accuse you of cheating. Their actions are irrational, but they say you are the one who’s crazy. Pause and do a reality check. What are the facts? It can be hard to tell with these people.

4. Separating you from support. They will separate you from family and friends. Without your support group, you’re more likely to succumb to their tactics. Don’t let this happen!

5. Denial. They will deny everything. If you catch them lying, cheating, or stealing, they’ll deny it. Sometimes you’ll begin to doubt yourself. Ask around. If they’re doing it to you, they’ve probably done it to others.

6. Flattery and contempt cycling. They’ll flatter and love you, then tear down your self-esteem. Then they’ll apologize and flatter you again, only to start the cycle all over. This is an insidious form of abuse that is so damaging, it often takes years to recover from it. If you see this happening, don’t excuse it–walk away from it.

Beware of these predators masquerading as caring humans. There are no treats here, only tricks. Have a happy and safe Halloween!

Hoodoo Bible Magic With Evan Lionhart

Four Phenomenal Proverbs For A Prosperous School Year

The end of Summer for many means returning to the classroom and preparing to hit the books. Though a stressful time for some, with the right knowledge it doesn’t have to be! Whether you’re returning to school or embarking on that next step in your academic vocation, there’s simple yet effective work that can be found in the Bible to assist in sharpening the mind.

Today, we take a look at a book of the Bible that’s abundant in wisdom — Proverbs! Mostly written by the sagacious King Solomon, many verses can be employed in conjure and rootwork to grant success in presentations and exams, improve concentration, and bring bullies to a halt.

Let’s examine four phenomenal Proverbs and see the various ways they can be utilized. I invite you to use King Solomon Wisdom products in conjunction with these workings for additional discernment and total success.
“For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”
Proverbs 2:6 is an excellent verse to enhance the effectiveness of a lecture or speech. Teachers may benefit from this as well! Copy the whole verse on paper, then slow boil it for 9 minutes along with a piece of Solomon Seal root, black tea, and a star anise pod. Add honey to sweeten your audience and for taste. Drink this tea the day you have to speak for a well received presentation.
“Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.”
From classroom to workplace, bullies come in all shapes and sizes. To render them useless against you, write their names or simply “All Bullies Against Me” on a piece of notebook paper. Turn it counterclockwise and write out Proverbs 22:10 over them. Add a pinch of Solomon Seal root, devil shoestring pieces, and alum and fold the paper away from you into a packet. Affix or place a crucifix or cross pendant to it and leave it on your altar. Not only will this offer you protection, this trick will pin down all who are causing you trouble.
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
If Peeping Toms seem to always seek your hard-earned answers, speaking or whispering Proverbs 1:7 before a test will help repel and confound those who try to steal your work. You can even copy and burn this verse to ash and dress your writing tools to create the same effect.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
Need help understanding a difficult section or subject? Dress a blue or purple vigil or taper candle with King Solomon oil. Write out Proverbs 3:5-6 on a piece of paper and turn the paper clockwise. Write “Help me understand (name of subject or topic)” on top and place it under your candle. Light it and allow it to burn as you study to improve your insight and memory retention.

May King Solomon grant you the wisdom to succeed in all you do this school year.
